A Welcome from Principal Cureton

Welcome to Corbin Preschool Center! My name is Ashley Cureton, and I am honored to serve as the principal of this wonderful preschool. It is a privilege to welcome you and your child to a place where learning, growth, and meaningful relationships are at the heart of everything we do.
As a mother of two, I understand the excitement, pride, and even the uncertainty that can come with sending your child to school. I know firsthand how important it is to trust that your child is in a safe, nurturing environment where they are loved, encouraged, and challenged to reach their full potential. That understanding shapes our motto “Where it begins” because we believe the early years are among the most important in a child's life. Preschool is where children begin building the foundational skills that prepare them for future success—not only in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and communication, but also in learning how to solve problems, work with others, express their emotions, and develop confidence in themselves that will begin to build their leadership skills.
At Corbin Preschool Center, we are committed to educating the whole child. Our dedicated teachers create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning while also fostering the social-emotional skills that help children become kind, resilient, and responsible members of their classrooms and communities.
I firmly believe that families are a child's first and most important teachers. When schools and families work together, children thrive. I look forward to building strong relationships with each of you, celebrating your child's milestones, and partnering with you throughout this exciting journey.
The Redhound Way: “Where it begins!”
Thank you,
Ashley Cureton
