More Than a T-Shirt: CEC Students Turn Creativity Into Opportunity

Sometimes, the most meaningful learning happens when students have the chance to build something of their own.

At the Corbin Educational Center, students are doing just that with the launch of their new student-run T-shirt shop. What began as an idea is becoming an opportunity for students to put their creativity to work, learn the ins and outs of running a business, and see what’s possible when an idea meets determination.

Fulfilling small orders takes more than a good design.

It takes planning, problem-solving, responsibility, and a willingness to see a task through. Through this hands-on experience, CEC students are discovering how their ideas can become something real and how their efforts can lead to something meaningful.

And the purpose reaches beyond the shop itself.

Every dollar raised will help support PBIS trips throughout the school year, allowing students to contribute to experiences that benefit their school community. The work they put into each order will help create opportunities for their fellow students, too.

At CEC, this business is about more than the shirts students create. It’s about building confidence, discovering strengths, and learning that their contributions matter. It’s a chance to turn creativity into action and hard work into something they can be proud of.

They’re creating more than T-shirts. They’re creating opportunities. That’s the Redhound Way!
