2025 Payment Information
2% Discount - Until October 31st
Face Amount - November 1st through December 31st
5% Penalty - January 1st through January 31st
10% Penalty - February 1st
*The Corbin Independent School District (CISD) offers several convenient options to make Real & Personal Property Tax payments. CISD will NOT accept partial payments; payments must be paid in full.

Mail - include your tax bill or put the bill number on your check or money order. This will ensure the accurate processing of your tax payment. The Corbin BOE mailing address is:

If you would like a mailed receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
To avoid delays in payment processing, please be sure your check is written for the correct amount and
made payable to Corbin Independent Schools.
*** In-person payments will ONLY be accepted at the Corbin Board Annex located at 311 Barbourville St. in Corbin

In-person check - have your tax bill present.
*** Make checks payable to Corbin. Independent Schools. There is a $25 fee for any returned check.

In-person cash - bring your tax bill with you to ensure accurate processing of your tax payment.

In-person credit card – the Corbin BOE accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express in office at 311 Barbourville St (processing fees do apply). At this time, there are no options to pay online or via phone.

*NOTE: the added convenience fees are charged and retained by the payment processor, PayLo --not the school district.
Exemptions:
If you are 65 or older, or 100% disabled, then you may be eligible for the homestead disability exemption. If you qualify, visit the Property Valuation Administrator in your county.

Exemptions
If you are age 65 or older, or 100% disabled, then you may be eligible for the homestead/disability exemption. If you qualify, visit the Property Valuation Administrator in your county. The maximum exemption in the state of Kentucky for 2025 is $49,100. All assessed property values are generated by your PVA and NOT the school district. The district does not possess any information with regard to the proposed assessed values.
