Corbin’s grade 3 students score at the 75th percentile in Math on a national Test!

Beginning in the 2006-2007 school year, a new state regulation required each elementary school in Kentucky to administer and report the results of a nationally norm-referenced test for reading and math. South Elementary tested grade three students using the Measures of Academic Progress Test (MAP Test) in May of 2007 in reading and math to fulfill this state regulation.  MAP is a nationally norm-referenced test through Northwestern Evaluation Association.  Corbin 3rd grade students scored at the 75th percentile rank in math and at the 61st percentile in reading.  The average national score is at the 50th percentile rank.  If you have any questions, please contact Brenda Hammons at 528-1303.
