The Corbin Independent School District will offer Extended School Services two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays till 4:30 p.m. Transportation will be provided. Extended School Services will also be offered Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. till 8:00 a.m. at Corbin High School. In an effort to target academic needs, students will be referred to ESS by their classroom teachers. Teachers will identify students that are having difficulty with specific skills that are keeping them from being successful in class. These classes will be designed to re-teach those specific skills. Students will be in Extended School Services for a designated amount of time. General tutoring and homework services will also be provided. If you feel that your child is in need of these services please contact the principal of your child’s school or Brenda Hammons at 528-1303.
