Calendar Information
School will be starting on Monday, August 9 for all Corbin schools. On that day, the children will be released at 11 a.m. Neither breakfast nor lunch will be served on that day. Teachers will participate in professional development activities in the afternoon. Also, on Friday, August 13, there will be no school. NIBROC is scheduled for August 11-14. August 2004 5TH - BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING – 7 P.M. – bOARD oFFICE 9TH – BEGINNING DAY FOR STUDENTS – EARLY RELEASE 11 A.M. 13TH – No School 24th - Corbin Preschool Center will hold its Grand Opening on Tuesday, August 24 at noon at the Center located at 614 Master Street in Corbin. 30th - The Corbin High School Open House and Chili Dog Supper is scheduled for Monday, August 30. The supper will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by the CHS ABC PTO, the supper will include a choice of hot dog, chili dog, or chili bun, chips,soft drink, and homemade dessert for $3.00. Baked beans and coleslaw may be purchased for an additional minimal fee. All CHS students and parents are encouraged to visit classrooms ANYTIME from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Come eat and visit with your CHS teachers and staff!
