STATEMENT: The mission of Corbin High School is to
provide opportunities that will help prepare each student for a successful
transition to college, the workplace and life.
Education will be provided cooperatively through competent professional

The
needs were determined by analyzing test scores and from Making Schools Work Technical Assistance Visit.

The
Comprehensive School Improvement Plan Committee decided upon goals and
strategies in each of the areas as indicated by the key findings.

What is the plan expected to achieve?
Student
achievement will increase as indicated by CATS, teacher observations and
assessment and positive indications from stakeholders.

How was public comment secured
and what was the response from the school?
Reports on the Comprehensive Improvement Plan and achievement gaps will be presented at each SBDM meeting.

How will consolidated planning be ensured in the
future?
Updates on the plan
will be presented at each SBDM meeting and to the Board every three
months. Responsible
persons will
present in detail what has been
implemented and its effect on student achievement.
